A black and white pencil sketch of a Sea Turtle.

Breah chose a tropical subject as an experiment in colored pencil shading. Aloha from the Hula Girl.

A nice pencil sketch of a manatee. This one was done some time ago and was Breah’s first attempt at a realistic-style illustration of these gentle marine mammals.
You can see a more recent art piece and learn more about these creatures at this blog post:Ā Mermaids In The Mangroves.
This black and white sketch of a Scarlet Macaw comes from Breah’s collection of hand-drawn animal illustrations.

This illustration of a Crane was originally a full page drawing. Originating only in her mind’s eye, Breah created this free-hand sketch without any immediate references. Details extend beyond the crane’s feathers and texture to the nearby cattail and water ripples.

Another Florida Keys inspiration, this time Breah presents a colored pencil sketch of a pelican waiting for his next meal, standing on a dockside post.

Breah recently had a request from a dog-lover to draw a Dachshund, aka the Wiener Dog! These requested works include both an original pencil sketch and a colored pencil rendition.
